Are immunizations required for enrollment?

To comply with Texas state regulations, Little Learning Grove follows the immunization requirements set by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS). Families are expected to provide up-to-date vaccination records or an approved exemption as outlined by state law.

The state requires vaccinations for diseases such as measles, polio, whooping cough, and others. A full list of required immunizations can be found on the Texas DSHS website.

Texas allows exemptions for medical reasons (with a doctor’s documentation) and for reasons of conscience, including religious beliefs. Parents requesting an exemption must submit a notarized affidavit from the Texas DSHS. While we cannot disclose individual immunization statuses due to privacy laws, we follow all Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) guidelines to maintain a safe environment.

Is LLG able to support students with special needs?

We are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for all children at Little Learning Grove. We understand the importance of meeting the unique requirements of each child, and we strive to accommodate diverse needs to the best of our ability. While we may not have specific programs tailored to every individual circumstance, we have experienced teachers who are trained to meet the unique needs of our students. If we feel that your kiddo would be a good fit for our learning environment we will work closely with your family to create a plan that ensures your child's success and comfort within our preschool setting. Prior to enrollment a meeting will be scheduled with our team and your family/kiddo to better understand your child's needs and how we can best support them.
