At Little Learning Grove our daily schedule includes lots of hands-on exploration both inside our school playroom and outside in the schoolyard.

We are an independently owned, non-profit 501(c)(3) preschool where childhood is cherished, and learning is rooted in hands-on discovery, not screens. Founded by parents who wanted a simpler, more intentional approach to early education, we focus on what truly matters: nurturing capable, curious kids through play, outdoor exploration, and foundational skills.

We couldn't be happier with our experience at Little Learning Grove! Ms. Brittney and Ms. Maria are truly the heart of the school—loving, kind, and deeply caring. They take the time to really know each child, focusing not just on academics, but on nurturing the whole child—socially, emotionally, and developmentally. Our daughter feels safe, valued, and excited to learn every day. Ms. Attilie and team continue to create a community for support, growth, and knowledge, from providing monthly speaker series with specialists in different areas of child development to having a speech therapist on site for this coming school year! We love Little Learning Grove! Our daughter has thrived academically as well as emotionally. This was her first school experience (3yrs old, going 2x a week) after being at home with me 100% but the transition was seamless and I attribute that to the phenomenal teachers at LLG. She comes home with new facts and skills every day and she’s learned so much about how to handle & express her big feelings. She is loved and supported in all ways and we just know that she’s in the right school. I can’t recommend LLG enough! I tell anyone looking for a preschool to check them out. We also love that there are 2 and 4 day options and appreciate the security of using an app to communicate with staff as well as check her in and out safely.

Our kid wakes up excited for school at LLG – something we hadn't experienced before! There has been such a great balance of outdoor exploration and free play with structure and lesson plans to develop the social-emotional and academic skills he'll need as he enters public school. The teachers are patient and kind, creating such a welcoming environment for our little one!

LLG is everything we imagined and hoped for our child’s pre-k experience 🍎

Our 4 (now 5) year old had a tough time with drop-off at his previous school- there were lots of tears and stress and negotiations. From day one at LLG, he has been excited to get ready for school, and runs inside with hardly a ‘see ya!’. Every day when we pick him up he has learned a new fact or skill, and can’t wait to tell us about his friends (or the chickens!). The LLG teachers and environment have allowed him to truly thrive, and it has brought our family so much joy. The teachers, the lessons, the big tree out back- LLG is everything we imagined and hoped for our child’s pre-k experience.

The teachers are truly caring, thoughtful and invested 🎒

Our experience at Little Learning Grove has been nothing but positive!! At first, we worried that our son (who had just been home with me prior to starting 2 days a week at LLG in August) was going to have a hard time transitioning from home to the “school” environment, but we couldn’t have been more wrong! The first day, he basically abandoned us at the door without so much as a hug or kiss goodbye and was ready to go. Everyday has pretty much been the same since! The teachers are truly caring, thoughtful and invested in helping LLG families raise happy, whole little people. My husband and I really appreciate how much effort Brittney, Maria and Gina have put into making LLG a safe and supportive learning environment and we feel that all the teachers really see and know our son and can speak to his "strengths" and "stretches" (areas in need of some improvement). All in all— our son is happy and so are we!!
I wish I could be little again and be a student at LLG! 🚌

We love LLG! Our son's speech and social skills have just blossomed! The ratios are small, they read and play all kinds of fun learning games. They also spend a significant time outdoors. This is great for fostering creativity and what I was looking for in a preschool. We love all the teachers, they are absolutely wonderful and I wish I could be little again and be a student at LLG!
